Very good day for Rob and I. Overcast all day long, little bit of wind in the morning but died down in the after noon. Water temp had dropped from last week so we didn't know what to expect, close to being time for deadsticking. First stop was Saint Annes West. Found a few fish, caught a few but no big schools. Fish were scattered and not real hungry. Moved across the lake to east side of dam- Greenhouse ridge and caught more there. Had no trouble finding fish but getting them to bite was not easy. Moved to west side of dam and set up in 40 FOW at Key Ranch. Rob noticed 26 ft was in the middle of the fish coming through. After he caught 3 and I caught none I figured out he knew the trick and we both were catching fish suspended dropping down to 26ft and moving the slab a little, not deadsticking. The quality of fish were better than last week, very few small ones with 6 under hybrids mixed in. Rob got the first over hybrid and I caught two more overs. Moved from there to Long Ridge, found them and sat in one spot for over an hour. Steady stream of fish coming through but tough to get the bite. Found that they wanted the bait suspended at 22ft. Caught very few off the bottom. Last stop was at Pitts Point. I caught a big fat crappie and Rob caught the big fish of the day, a 21" fat hybrid. All fish caught on small slabs and thump buddy or fly. 78 on the clicker, all released Rob with big fish of the day Second place goes to me. One of two crappie caught on a slab.

Rob looks happy? How can you tell? Rob is very happy when we catch fish, big or small it doesn't matter.
