Fishing this fall has been a challenge. Trying to find a consistent bite or pattern has been difficult. Been having both good and slow days on the water. One day the bite is good and the next it is super slow. Been fishing Dunlap and some local creeks these past couple of weeks. Catching a variety of sunfish. Redbreast,Hybrids,Redear, and Bluegill. Also catching plenty of bass, catfish, and a few Rios. Finding fish on Dunlap in 5 to 12 feet of water by docks and over hanging tree limbs. Finding the fish in creeks close to the deeper pockets of water by brush piles. Water bodies are in great shape with good current. Fished a few times with the Rick aka Catyakker. Worms were used with both bottom, drop shot, and float techniques being used. Fish were caught on ultralight light tackle and were released. Getting in some late fall fishing. It just don't get any better! fish

fish Good job guys, that's why they call it fishing! If it was always easy to catch fish we would be bored and stop doing it.

Thanks Curtis for the reply! I have not fished Dunlap since the trout stockings. Will be fishing there soon. Also Canyon was letting out over 800 CFS. The Army Corp.of Engineers started slowing down the discharge and it is now 425 CFS as of today. It's been tough trout fishing the Guadalupe so far. Still getting plenty of trout! thumb

The let out has been under 400 for about a week now. Don't know how much this latest rainfall will effect the lake level at Canyon! hmmm Hopefully the Army Corp.of Engineers will not have to let out too much water! eeks
