I went out today cleaned 15 had a 6.5 lb fish. caught them on Stubbys cheese bait. Most of the fish were caught in 30 foot deep water. Water temp is 56 and looking for fishing to get tough but so far it is still very good.

I got 15 in a couple hours yesterday on Fork. Mostly small but I kept a few for a friend and a couple fillets for my dinner.
A little slower than usual, but Stubby"s Cheese Bait finally got them. All in 28 FOW. Stubby, I need some more bait.

Did those round green fish hit cheese bait? You might have mixed up the cheese bait with the minnow flavor.  Good job!

I went and got bait from Stubby yesterday. I never should have asked him to show me his custom made catfish rods. Beautiful rods with a great feel and balance. I knew it as soon as I picked it up.
Now I own one. Got it rigged and ready to go.

Sounds good buddy. Let's do it. I'm positive it will be great since I was doing well using old Ugly Sticks and beat up baitcasters up
til now. Going from a plow horse to a thoroughbred. Got to warm up one of these days.
