When placing a brush pile is it ok to sink it in a heavy brush area of the lake or does the existing brush make it less effective?

The more brush in the area the more scattered the fish will be. I like putting brush in areas that there isnt much.

The more brush in the area the more scattered the fish will be. I like putting brush in areas that there isnt much. This is my preference too, but I've had some really good BPs hidden right in the middle of a stump field. So it can be effective.

I have piles in the middle of a forest and have plenty of fish there year round

I like to put them out in prespawn areas where there is little cover....catch em coming and going!!!
