Any recommendations for a brand of fly strip that does a good job of attracting & catching house flies? Tried the RAID brand and some other brand at Lowes. They're plenty sticky enough but neither does much to attract flies.
Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

I used to get some at the 'feed & seed' store that worked pretty well. One bit of caution: Don't hang them where you might walk into it in the dark. Trying to get all that goo thing off your face will look like something you'd see in a cartoon.
Enough of this idle chit-chat. This ain't no retirement home. EVERYONE! Get back to your oars. The Captain wants to waterski.

I used some bags at Lowes that you put a little water in and it smelled like death. Flies died in it by the hundreds. Needless to say it was not for enclosed spaces or near a human gathering place like a patio, but very effective nearby.

I swear by the hot shot or whatever brand of "no pest strips" that have the funny looking spongy looking thing that goes in a white hangup basket. I buy a few early summer and they last until fall and keep flies dead in my home. Link to one brand but there are others: No pest strips link.
