Did you take these photos with your iPhone? Both photos are missing EXIF data.

And you loaded them directly from your photo library?

I'm trying to find out what is going on with your photos. Found this.
How did you import the photos to Photos? The filenames are looking suspiciously like iCloud downloads of the full versions to an iPhone or iPad, and then imported by USB. If you are using iCloud Photo Library on an iOS device with "Optimize Storage" active, and then import the photos by connecting the iPhone or iPad to USB, you will see such strange original files with many EXIF tags missing. Or tav the photos been imported from a scanner or created by another app?

Guys, I think EXIF data is simply the file format extension, or JPG in one instance. Native iPhone pics wont post, you gotta take a screenshot to get a jpg file that should post. If it posts sideways, just open the jpg in the editor and use the rotate tool to stand it up. Then, and this is the secret, you use your finger to drag it off vertical just a degree or two and click Done.
Try that. I once had a post showing that procedure but its over a year old and I cant search it.

Our image uploader now reads the EXIF data, recognizes that the photo is sideways and corrects it. There are still a few instances where the photo is remaining flipped due to missing EXIF data. You no longer need to take a screen shot when using iPhone.

Thanks for the help JP but still no luck for me. I just uploaded a bunch of different pics and screenshots and previewed each one. Screenshots were all fine (like hogshead in TSA line posted above) but my native iphone pics all post sideways
Cast I tried full editor and can't tell that it makes any difference. When I preview and try to rotate I just get save or copy options from my phone

We're thinking about adding a feature that will allow you to rotate an image before posting.
