Having been through this death wobble stuff on jeeps, I can assure you that it is one of these things. A bad drag link, tie rod end(s), or ball joints. Tires, no matter how badly made it out of balance, cannot be the cause of the oscillating that is happening. Poorly worn tires can be the result though. Adding a steering damper is only a band aid. A steering damper is really not even needed. Two of them, like 4x4 dudes like to display on their front ends, are actually bad for the steering box and pitman arm.
If it wobbles, something is worn out. Check every steering/suspension part with a crow bar. Even better, have someone slowly rock the steering wheel left and right while you look for parts that flex or show ANY signs of abnormal wear.

I have a 2017 F250 Super Crew 4x4 Gasser and love it. 36,000 miles. Well love it all but the 70 mph front end Death Wobble. Yep, has happened 3 times to me in the last month. Hit a small bump in the road and hang on. Gotta shut it down to stop it. Google it and see where you are. No fix for it and Ford looks the other way it seems. Theres a service bulletin for the 17s and up but 99 out of 100 times its usually caused by the tires Update. Guess I got the 1 out of 100 there son. Just got the Ford 4X4 6.2 Super Crew out of Johnson Sewell Ford (Marble Falls) and they rebuilt the entire front end including Ball joints. Warranty covered repair and I wouldn't have like to had to pay that bill. Wasn't the tires. This Puppy has never been off road and all highway miles. Anybody want to buy a 2017 , make me an offer.

Well I guess Ill be generous and offer you $10k for it, since its a pile of crud. Seeing how bad its been to you, that should be a more than generous offer. Shoot me a PM where to meet to get the title.
