Used to feel like I needed a trip through the car wash to get all the sunscreen residue off me, no more of that junk.

I probably dont cover up enough from the sun unless its 100+ out or if I'm salt water fishing Out on a boat in the ocean I cover up everything face, hands, feet, etc.. on the lake usually just a long sleeve shirt But I still go the beach in shorts and flip flops The sun from the beach for a few hrs doesnt even compare to being on the boat for 8-10hrs And I usually wear sunblock on the beach and bare minimum on the boat just because I dont want to be greasy when I'm fishing

My partner lives on the lake and fishes more than most touring pros. He also is the whitest guy in the world, an hour on the lake and he looks like a lobster. He always used an enormous amount of 50+ SPF sunscreen, I can't tell you how many times over the years we have walked into a restaurant after a tournament and he would have a big blob of sunscreen hanging out of his ear. And still be burnt. The last couple of years he started wearing the gloves and buff and long sleeves and he doesn't burn up anymore. I tell him all the time he looks like a doofus but really it's just that I miss making fun of him at the restaurant.

I do not wear the face buff but do wear long sleeves when it does get hot, if i fished more i could see myself wearing a full face protection.

They will still be wondering why you can buy a 72" 4K UHD flat screen television for less than a 24" Humminbird.

Do you think the people who wear those mask and gloves while fishing will look at a picture of themselves 15 years from now and ask themselves “what was I thinking?” You know, kinda like when you see an old picture of yourself in a pair of jean shorts overalls with one shoulder strap hanging free. The color/fabric/design preferences may change, but I'll not look back and say I looked stupid for wearing something that helped prevent skin cancer and didn't wear-off halfway through the day like every brand of greasy sunscreen I've tried to use for years. It will probably be more like, "man, I would have been so much more comfortable then if I had today's ???????? fabric technology."

Look at the sun spots on Bill Dances hands. If he could have marketed sun products in the 80’s to avoid that he would have.

Talk about being hot as heck... I use a straw hat, sunscreen and wear the gloves and long sleeves. Gotta put the sunscreen on my legs anyways so it isnt hard to add it to my face. When I try and fish in my normal hat once the sun comes out I feel like Im cooking my ears neck and even my head if it is a dark colored hat. I dont know how I fished prior to the straw hat.

Sunny and heat index over 95, I feel much cooler with breathable material face mask, long sleeves, and long pants Especially with all that sunlight reflecting off the water
