I have a few questions. Can you link a 898 to a helix 7 generation 2? And if so , what do you need to link them together? Can the Helix share autochart live with the 898, if not could you put it on a card, put it in the 898 and the 898 read it?

Just need a Ethernet pfca le ofsuita le length and a Ethernet adapter cable for the helix The core units do not share mapping. You can check and see if the 898 can use ACL, there is a auto chart program that came out in the early years for the core units. Can't remember if the 898 was compatible or not, the xxx9 series was Here is a link to the transducer networking chart. https://www.humminbird.com/support/faqs/EthernetSonarSharing
