Based on what I've heard the Yegua may still be a bit muddy. If that's the case the smaller creeks like Nails and Cedar can be backup options.

Thanks for the tip.. I might just try Nails then. Based on what I've heard the Yegua may still be a bit muddy. If that's the case the smaller creeks like Nails and Cedar can be backup options.

I am heading up to Irwin bridge tomorrow morning. Not expecting much but hoping to catch a few crappie. If not I plan to hit up other creeks or possibly damside on the main lake. Weather looks to be nice at least. Ill try and report back if I have any luck.

The creeks are in poor fishable condition. Cedar, nails and Yegua are all running high and muddy with the Yegua being the worst. I didnt get any bites in any of them in the spots I tried. I was able to catch a few fish at the spillway (1 white bass, 1 crappie and 2 goo). There were a few other people catching goo. One guy caught a handful of crappie on small minnows.

My right knee just reminded me that I forgot to mention that the banks are muddy and slippery. So watch out for falls

I will probably be out fishing the creeks this Friday. My brother-in-law is in town and we're looking for something to do that doesn't involve dealing with the Black Friday crowds. Even if we don't catch anything it's looking like a good day to be outdoors.

Met up with J-Moe yesterday and we were able to catch a few nice crappie. All of the creeks are in excellent shape right now. Water clarity has really improved. Saw quite a few cars and people fishing at Irwin bridge.
