Bandits are 5.59 to 6.49 at many retailers. TW included.

Yep noticed this also, used to get the 'employee discount' coupon about once or twice a year also. Haven't had one of those in a long while.

Heck, They even quit giving employee discounts to employees on some items.

6 bucks at Academy.

I love Academy because I remember it when it was an Army Navy surplus store in Austin, kind of like someone who used to buy lures out of the corner of Johnny Morris' dad's liquor store in Springfield MO.

I will never understand why they charge such high retail prices, when they have so much buying power. I'm sure they get deep cuts from the mfg., they could certainly pass that on to their customers. GREED!

Does anyone know if they have done away with the employee pricing events?

The only thing Cabelas has left over BPS is that they take more than 5 gift cards online, and Guidewear. When that changes, it will not be relevant to me anymore

I went to the Fort Worth store several months back and loved the selection. I actually thought it was better than bass pro. Got a Cabela's brand crappie rod for cheap and really love the rod. Sounds like it has went downhill fast since then.
