I did an overnight trip last night rigged for nothing but the monsters! Finally found some shad the size I've been loo  king for and they paid off! Big bait, Big fish! Fished on anchor in 18 FOW, on a ledge next to a dumping creek channel. Didn't weigh fish but nothing under 8# for sure. Kept 2 @ 28" and released the bigger fish. Caught one dandy!

Guess whos deep hole net got trashed yesterday Gato? MINE! Glad I had my back-up net. Those lunker shad were in 2-3 so my regular net worked. Got a 2 hr nap and thinking about another over-nighter. Storms coming and full moon!

Dang you kept 2 28 inchers????....Man those will be some good fillets....I thought about keeping the one i caught the other day on video....Those are gonna be some tasty cuts Buddy!!!!!...Great job!!!

one thing you might try next time if you haven't already when you are experimenting is try increasing the contrast on the si. The image will not be as smooth and pretty but the fish will sometimes pop out a little better. also try switching the si screens to full screen left or full screen right. This will give ya more screen. Sometimes I will run units side by side networked to the same transducer. Run one unit full screen left and the other full screen right. This can make finding fish in shallow water easier or any situation when you can key in on one side. This can also help out for those that have smaller screens.

Thanks guys! I either fish Lake Brownwood or Lake Proctor when Im around home. I live 20 Miles from either. Proctor is plum nasty right now! Looks like its turning over and it stinks!
