Going to the lake this weekend. I've caught tons of bluegill at this spot before but have never tried this time of the year. Usually I can find them in the rocks in 3ft or less of water. Do yall think they will still be in that same pattern? Should I try deeper? Anything in particular I should try? Would love to find the big ones.
If they're around I'm sure I can find them by trying different approaches, but I'm hoping some of you experts can offer advice to avoid me wasting any time.

I have never fished Tawakoni before. Down here in South Central Texas we are catching nice Redear in shallow water 3 to 6 feet deep by snail beds. Also catching nice Bluegill by docks in 10 to 14 feet of water. Live Night Crawlers have gotten the best results for me. Hope this helps you out some. There are several anglers who live in your area and fish Tawakoni. Hopefully a couple of them reply. Side Note: I do not know how much rain you have gotten but we got hammered. Just about every major water body is flooded. Also you can PM Andrew aka Fitz. I think he has fished Tawakoni before.
