 Cold Weather! Who is Fishing?

Looks like a much cooler weekend ahead. First MAJOR COLD FRONT will arrive here in South Central Texas tonight. Strong north winds tomorrow with light rain. High temperatures in the fifties all week long with a chance of light rain. Who is FISHING this week?  Side Note: Long range weather forecast is saying it is going to be a COLD/WET winter!

Boy, I really hate windy cold weather...not looking good for an outing this week. Totally Agree. Not only windy and cold it is going to be wet,windy,and cold! Looks like lake living room for me this week. Side Note: Might see if the weather gets better towards the end of the week! If so may make a Cally run.

I got rubber boots, a rain coat, and long johns. Even though, everyone knows the fish don't bite for three days after a front moves in; you just don't know, if you don't go. And oh, I got worms.

I can honestly say that weather will not play a factor when Rick fishes.  Nether RAIN,WIND,SNOW,and HEAT will not slow the Catyakker down!  Side Note: Hope to fish a time or two with him this week!

My days off are Wednesday,Thursday,and Friday. Hopefully by then this northern wind will die down. Hopefully to make it out either Thursday or Friday!

Precisely why I moved from Great Falls Montana to sunny South Texas (anyway most of the time) when I retired. I did love those Mountains and fly fishing but when comparing the lovely mountains and snow and ice to being able to fish 12 months out of the year in South Texas; I would have been  to have stayed.
