Years ago I was fishing a tournament on the Arkansas River and was trying to beat a friend to one of our favorite spots. Trouble was his boat was much faster than mine so I decided to take a short cut. Spent the next two hours pulling the boat 30' off of a sandbar. To make matters worse he won the tournament off that spot.
