 Who is the biggest thief you know?

Prior to a couple weeks ago, the biggest thief I've personally known was a guy who stole $7MM. Well, not to be outdone apparently, an old friend of mine just got popped for stealing $364MM. Can anyone top that? https://www.usatoday.com/story/money/nat...ent/1366012002/I know this isn't putting Madoff-type numbers on the board, but still...$364MM. That's a lotta dough.

To keep it fair, anyone that has been in my business for as long as I have has a similar story...just maybe not to the tune of $364MM. That's a bewildering amount of money.

Hopefully your old friend and his buddies will get the same sentence as Bernie Madoff. 150 years sounds about right.

As for the $364MM guys...I suspect they'll die in jail. Deservedly so I'd suppose. Another close friend and client of mine got taken for $750K in the scam. He just found out last Friday that his $750K was part of that deal.
