Worth their price, I think not. Better than everything else I have tried, I think so.

Personally, I think they're worth every cent. I've witnessed more than enough to say they are worth the money. I've had some remarkable days with a Jackhammer. There isn't a better bait to throw during the pre-spawn/spawn for big fish.

It is hands down as good as advertised. Its the only chatterbait I throw. This spring I fished down a bank with a spinnerbait, turn back around an hit it with the Jackhammer & caught a 9.11lber. Im not saying he wouldnt have bit another bait, but Im confident it will land the ones that bite it.

For the Jackhammer guys, what trailer are you using? Also, are you a fan of White, Green P. or Black and Blue? I still throw the original Chatterbait with the gold head and a Ayu swimbait trailer. Seems to keep catching fish, although you have to have alot of superglue to keep the trailer on. Thanks in advance for the answers.

The original D&M Piranha was the best balded jig I ever used. I haven't tried the jackhammer, but it looks to be similar, just with a different blade design. I wish they would make one with a little wider blade. As a side note - I know there is someone making custom baits that mimic the Piranha almost exactly... Does anyone know who this is?

I'm still using the original Phenix vibrating jigs that I bought in 2011 when they were being discontinued due to patent infringement. I liked those much better than the original Chatterbaits.

Good to know the jackhammer is solid.

Is the jackhammer worth the money vs. other bladed jigs? They get bit. Worth the money? Depends on your personal opinion. Others may feel it is a waste.

I panicked when I read on here that they were being discontinued. Ending up buying all I could from a store in Arizona.

I either use Green Shad or Green Pumpkin.

I sort of panicked and bought as many as I could find at the time. Oh Man! I just lost my last one last fall. The hook had been sharpened almost down to the barb. I would have swam for that lure, the hook broke in my hands after being straightened over and over. Easily caught over 100 fish on that one. Talk about a confidence bait. Wish I could find a few!

Fished a tourney and was killing them on the JH. Had a limit in less than half an hour and I won. My nonboater threw a different brand and had nothing. They have won me enough to offset the cost and I love them
