Agreed, but 2 different entities

This year, BASS has given out Triton and Nitro boats to the co angler winner of the BASS Opens. I wonder if the Nitro/Triton/Ranger deal with FLW will change that?

Bass Pro is still the title sponsor for the 2019 Bassmaster Opens as well.

This is gonna be a game changer. I could see a lot of folks swapping to the new deal that�s in the works

I think MLF is an amazing format. It appeals to more people than just fisherman. I do love what Bass has done with the live. I find myself watching it religiously. I don't think the traditional tournament format will ever go away entirely.

I agree... IMO MLF will become the Elite of the Elite and the rest of the trails will be qualifiers to get there.

I'm amazed at how many y'all think a MLF see who can catch the most 12" fish format will over take the other trails ...lol

What do you bet that within 5 years BASS and FLW will no longer have staged weigh ins? Whether it�s best 5 or total weight for the day I think weighing on the boat and releasing is the future.

with as much money an fame is at stake plus the chance to draw a crowd an make more money dont think they will go to the honor system.the reason there is not more t v programming is that not many people want to fund it an it goes the way of honey hole an the sort.the few show that are left have more commercials than actual fishing.

I bet Johnny buys MLF.

I just cannot see Bass or FLW giving up on the stage weigh in's for the reason there's too much money to be made when they have live weigh in's. Seems as though MLF is doing fine but not sure they will last that much longer and cannot see them being a tournament club because of how do they pay out to the fisherman ? They'd have to have a good size of revenue coming in to participate like FLW & Bass Guess could be surprised I guess. Just have to wait and see.

MLF starts new Tour level events with LIVE coverage and mass exodus from BASS seems to be the rumor. I wonder if some of those that leave BASS will fish both MLF and FLW?

They will lose a whole lotta fan attendance if they did. Seeing them actually putting 5 fish on a scale is the biggest reason for fans to attend, or atleast that�s my reason for going to a bass event. The concept is great for the Mlf format but I think they would be shooting themselves in the foot if they did that for the 5 fish format.
