Bought a boat that has a HDS 10 on it and would like to find out if it's a Gen 1 or 2. Is there a way to tell what Gen it is? Any help would be appreciated.

Is the Lowrance text black on it? if so..its a Gen1. if its white it a Gen2. Also if you pwr it up it should flash Gen2, i think.

There should also be a small tag on the back that will have that info on it.
