Just opt for a rv camp site, that's normally what I do. They will have power to plug into.

If you're trying to not get a gen., then best bet would be the on-board charger, (as mentioned), and the big motor will charge all batteries, when operating. Also, I have frequently gone the weekend (3 days) without charging my 24 volt system, plenty left for Sunday. Before I got a truck with ac plug, I got a 12 volt converter plug, for the cig lighter, with a normal portable charger, you can charge one battery at a time.

I have a small quiet generator like the Honda but it's a different band. Cost me about $300.

Something to think about. I like the on-board charging idea, but... when you are at home and lose power, you now have a generator to run a small window unit and keep at least one room in the house cool. This is what I do, plus I run extension cords inside and plug in my refrigerator and in the garage to my freezer. Keeps you from losing meat and such during long power outages.

Just my 2 cents.
