4/0 or 5/0 Keeper Hook from Mister Twister won't tear up your worms. Sometimes the weighted ones are killer too!

I use the exact same two hooks in the same situations!

Although the Gamakatsu 5/0 listed above was strong enough to catch a 5' alligator in our local Zoo Lake here.

Top clarify I "caught" it and fought it for 20 minutes, with it doing several 100 yard or so runs, and got it back to within 5 yards of me.

Then my wife said "Have you had enough fun?" so I gave it some slack and it threw the hook back out.

The hook was not bent at all and I continued to use it.

On a side note there was a guy that had been fishing there when we got there.

Once I hung the gator he came over after about 5 minutes and said "When you get it to the shore I want to get all of my baits back out of it's mouth!"

It was an "Alligator Mississippiensis" or American Alligator who happened to be a lake resident.
