Ditto on the wasps. Wasp nests in the dead trees in hollowed out areas. Was on the lake recently. Caught some good ones on plastics in the 8-12 ft range around bigger timber. If you want a dink fest throw a job junebug trick worm right at the bank. Water looked good.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways with a fishing rod in one hand, 10# LMB in the other, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and yelling "Wow! What a Ride!

Lost a pair of Costa sunglasses last trip there when I freaked out a little when wasp start thumping my hat. Frantically tried to get them off of me and lanyard came off and down to the bottom they went.

Went two weeks ago and did my best flipping black and blue plastics into the middle of the logjams at upper end of Talesco Creek where they've floated and piled up.
