+1 for the one knock spook. The 6th sense dogma is a good one too that doesn't get seen a lot.

My Custom Flash Shad Spook's walk is as good as it gets. It is patterned from the Zell Rolland 1990's Signature 3 hook spook. The modifications that I have done not only makes it do the wide walk; it also throws the big bubble.
I want my spook to do the 180 degree turns while sitting in one spot. It is designed to do just that, which represents the Dying Quiver of a stunned Bait fish. This is the technique that has produced the larger fish.

Another vote for a Spook. Tough to beat. The Rapala Skitter V is real easy to walk and you can make it glide too. One more: walking an olde skool Storm Chug Bug....

No one mentioned the 3/8 oz. Yellow Magic Plus 1, so I WILL. GREAT walking bait and the fish LOVE IT. It walkes the dog better than the 1/2 oz, WAY MORE WALKING POWER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Of course, they stopped making them so you have to go buy one from Japan on eBay for $20 or so. BEST walk the dog baits I have fished, but I have tried the Shower Blow yet, either. Hope this helps. Tight lines, keep safe and good luck.
Thad Rains I throw the Yellow Magic +1 quite a bit but I did not mention them because I did not think that it would be considered a "walking bait" even though it does that well. It is fantastic if the fish want a smaller bait than the Shower Blow.

I caught a lot of Northerns when I was stationed in ND. After losing several nice cranks to them while bass fishing I started using a 3" steel lead. They are cheap and should help you from losing other baits. Only person who really states a fact in this whole thread. Dont gloss over this advice. BTW, pike eat anything.

When I throw a walking bait it's either a Spook or a Lunker Punker.
