I doubt it is cross compatible with any other sonar since this motor will be in addition to other models

Would it not be universal like US2? With a different adapter for each brand? I think the mega transducer is much more expensive than the regular so if someone had a different brand and not able to use the mega function they aren't going to want to pay more for it.

For the clueless, the major appeal is a built-in imaging transducer for anglers that use the electric-steer-only motors like Ulterra, Terrova, and Powerdrive. No issues with cable management. Typically they like 2D and DI at the bow.
