Family is everything!

Life is precious. We don’t have forever. We have now. This moment. We can choose to love our lives now.

confusing article there.
Lewisville lake water seems to be cleaner than a few years back.
Fishing is getting better

I've read that that's one of the few beneficial(?) effects, being filter feeders. Also read some Idjits are deliberately planting them around their docks to clean up "their" water.

Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

Zebra Mussels are a lot like hydrilla. Everywhere they take hold the water clears up, fishing gets better and jet skis get their intakes clogged.

While it helps clear the lake and seems to make fishing better, it is he77 on line.

Bridgeport is my lake and you have to re-tie every 3-5 cast or you ARE going to lose whatever is tied on there.

I fish out there a bunch myself but am not having the line issues you are.

Not sure what area of the lake has so many mussels you gotta retire every 3-5 casts. Not saying it ain't true just saying in a lot of time spent there I have not had any issues no matter what techniques I have fished. Shallow or deep.

That cat is out of the bag. Folks from up north relocating their big cruisers started it. Losing battle for anybody in TX that are trying to stop it. Can't say it has impacted the fishing on Texoma. It does seem the drought and floods we have here knocks them back a bit.
