Thanks for the suggestions. I'll probably stick with the backpack for now (may buy a new one) but if I ever upgrade the front graph to bigger, I'll need something else.

Take a look at these range bags from Midway USA. There's a pistol range bag for $25 and a smaller range and field bag for $20. They come with dividers inside so the units don't bump each other. https://www.midwayusa.com/range-bags/br?cid=19645

Bought my h.b. used,got a carry/protective cover w. seems like neoprene w/ velcro straps and wide flap over the back.Called Sonar Sock i think.Not gonna leave on boat,good chance of gravel & other !@#%*&>* kicked up while in transit.imo.

I use heavy cotton game bags. The kind you pack meat out in. works great.

I use heavy cotton game bags. The kind you pack meat out in. works great. That's what im talkin bout,packin CRAPPIE MEAT OUT, to LAKE CRISCO lol
