what an ignorant statement. it doesn't matter if its granular or liquid for immediate results. I would know, I used to make the stuff. some people...

the difference between catch and release and please release me is the newer CNR formula has calming ingredients for livewell transportation where as the original PRM has more medical ingredients to help blood clotting and slime regeneration etc. all the others are just a knock off and only contain methylene blue and no other helpful chemicals just like you would get at the pet store.

Do you have any evidence for your claim about the knock offs, or are you likewise making ignorant statements? Disclaimer, I havent used an alternative to PRM (yet, will this weekend since I bought a bottle of G-Juice). Since you used to make the stuff maybe you can tell us; what are the active ingredients? I want to know what I am using to know how it might react with other components of my system.

Never used any and never had a problem. Then again I rarely keep fish in a livewell after June.

Did our own testing sir, nothing ignorant here. There's a reason BASS has sent me to many events to educate their top anglers on fish care.

Contact Tony at SureLife about ingredients, I know exactly but that's a trade secret.

So would you recommend a half and half PRM/CNR?

CNR for normal use, add PRM if you have a bleeder or external wounds. Ice and H202 as well.

Despite which product one chooses, is using hydrogen peroxide suggested by everyone here?

Exactly! Sure life products are the best on the market. Catch and Release for normal livewell treatment and Please Release Me for injured, bleeding, or super high stressed fish. I know there are other products out there with better marketing, but when it comes down to actual fish care I will stand behind Sure Life and TFF member Tony Gergele over anything else out there. Do some searches on youtube and watch the man at work.

In moderation it can be helpful, to much and you just did worse to the fish than using nothing at all. I personally use it to clean my livewells but not as an additive when I have fish in the box.

I've heard the Sure life products and oxygenators don't mix well. They make oxygen through electrolysis (?) and it breaks down the salt NaCl and makes chlorine in your water. True?

Make every cast count!
