I think it has already started on my phone. I first noticed that when I would turn on my phone say in the morning the YouTube app would show a little notification bar saying..."Good morning Urban". It does the same in the evenings too. Then lately I noticed when I get to work and open my phone the same little notification thing says "You have arrived at work". Same when I get home after work...as soon as I open my phone when I get home, it says "You have arrived at home". I have never actually entered my home nor work address into my phone. I assume it has the ability to monitor my movements and I guess "assumes" when it knows I'm at work versus when I am at home. Doesn't really bother me, but it is a bit creepy.

I read the word phone 5 times in your post. Herein lies the problem... So I should not have a phone? I kinda like my phone. It does all kinds of cool stuff and is my primary source for porn.

Turn off your location feature when not needed. Close all apps you don't need till you use them.

Turn off your location feature when not needed. Close all apps you don't need till you use them. Well like I said it doesn't really bother me. I just found it interesting how my own phone can decipher whether I am at work or at home. I wonder what it thinks when I am at a buddy's house. I also wonder if I was married and had a girlfriend on the side if it would tell me "You have arrived at sancha's house".

No, it would be telling your girlfriend / wife where you were at....LOL You are among the majority that doesn't let stuff like this bother you. That allows business and government to develop such technology to use to their advantage.....

But I did want to add that I guess it's not my phone more than the YouTube app. I just saw it again when I came back from lunch. It's a small notification bar that appears near the bottom of the screen. It has YouTube's symbol (the play button) and actually says YouTube. Then it says..."arrived at work". I figured it would be a map app or GPS...but why the heck does YouTube want to know where I am at?

This isn't another drunk post to Facebook page and then accuse the new site of stealing your pictures artificial intelligence kind of thing is it? No, because this time I actually came back to work sober from my lunch break.
