I went to HEB on the way out of Austin Sunday morning. HEB I stopped at is one of the bigger stores. After seeing what they had in produce and especially bakery areas I am convinced that Kroger is paying them to stay out of Dallas, Collin, and Rockwall counties. Bakery just blows Kroger away.

I must admit I haven't tried one yet, but near the front of the stores they have these pre-made one serving dinners that look amazingly good. They are like a frozen dinner, but with fresh food. I guess you just unwrap the plastic and shove the whole thing in the oven for the recommended amount of time. Again I haven't had one yet, but people I have spoken to that have said they are delicious.

Yes, that is what you do, and they are good.

I love HEB. My wife and I drive past a Signature Kroger just to go to HEB.

HEB rules! We only go to Kroger when we need something quick. HEB for most stuff, but you better not be in a hurry.

They announced a development deal here in Nac for 2019. All of a sudden Kroger started remodeling. I hope they follow through, but we will see.

Curbside pickup is the way to go.
