I would say basic hand tools, screw drivers, channel locks, needle nose, crescent, electrical tape, connectors, wire strippers, water proof box to keep personal items/ registration, extra plugs, rope, oil, get a TH Marine trilling motor cable so you don�t have to worry about keeping a rope cable. It will be just a matter of time before you go to lift the trolling motor and the rope breaks... Also keep a couple extra bulbs for your running lights.

if it's an outboard take an extra fuel line connector. it can save your arse.
