If one wants to spend "some extra bucks" I would recommend
the Edge Pro. I have one of these and use it to form an edge
or on special knives that I want to maintain an angular edge on.
You can also form a super sharp, hair popping edge with this
device as it so precisely controls the angle of the edge.
Overall, a very versatile sharpening system. Used by many
professionals.

To me, that just looks like a fancier version of the Lansky sharpeners.

I bought the Rada Quick Edge for $7.73 on amazon after learning about it from BeltonBills post.

I am glad I could help someone. I use it in Colorado to sharpen knives for skinning elk and mule deer. For the price and convenience, it should be in a lot of tackle boxes.
