I really think so. There is parts of the country that would love to have fisheries that support 8 pound plus Bass but as you know the only issue is that the climate in most states can't sustain such Bass imo. That's why TX has moved the number down to get more share numbers. You know the old numbers have been trending down for a while now with the latter sizing.

Reboot and start again. Let us all catch dinks for several years until they move the number up again.

If bass fishing can be improved for everyone then everyone should be happy TPW had the foresight to make the change. The top 25 list is still the top 25 no matter what you call it and now many 13's come from private waters most will never fish.

8+ data doesn't tell them much more than they already know about our lakes. The recipe is pretty simple. Stock the lakes at the right time, get adequate rainfall, mother nature takes care of the rest.

The petition was a joke guys. It was made to prove a point...that most people on here complaining about it don�t really care. They just want to complain or make fun of someone else.

No.....1% bothered to click the hyperlink. 99% don't really care either way. I'm of the don't care either crowd. Honestly. I wish it wouldn't change. But, it did. And it's done. And TPWD doesn't care about what you, I , or anyone else really has to say about it. It was a means for them to get folks to download an app. And provide free data to them. In return, you are supposed to feel better about your success on the water and they save money/make money.

Rome wasn't built in a day. Folks will need some time. It will be shared to SM and who knows?

Do you have better names? If so, let�s hear them.

The data points will be invaluable. The app just makes it easier to submit (and it�s free).

Don�t overlook the request from TPWD to submit scale samples too. That will become the most impressive data set eventually.

I think TPW deserve a lot of credit think back 10/20/30 years and more wat winning weights were.
