If it runs good and it's safe, then just fish... You feel that much better when you catch more fish then the guy in the 50k bass boat lol

I've had three boats wrapped. They look great from a distance of 50' away. The wraps are awesome if you are promoting a business that will pay for a new wrap every 2-3 years. They get scratched and even torn pretty easily. They can repair the torn places if the graphics shop knows what they're doing.
If it were me, I would put new carpet in the boat and Go Fishing! THIS - if everything is running good do the carpet and go get em ( big OLD bass like OLD boats better anyway)

Putting a wrap on it is the duct tape solution. If you are enjoying restoring it, take it to a fiberglass shop and see what they would charge to get it back in shape. Do it a piece at a time as you can afford it. You can eventually get new carpet, new seats, trolling motor and electronics.
You may be able to get your hull fixed at a fiberglass shop for less than what a wrap cost.
The solution to any problem - work, love, money, whatever - is to go fishing, and the worse the problem, the longer the trip should be. --John Gierach

Thanks for all of the advice fellas! I appreciate all of the different opinions and viewpoints.
I think I am going to move on to the carpet and deal with the gelcoat stuff later on if at all.
