I checked out the City ordinances and it doesn't look like owning livestock is legal in the Dallas city limits. A neighbor who makes bad decisions has a couple now and they bleat on the regular. It's annoying. They might be illegally imported minis based on the look of them.

I'd report them to the City but apparently a complaint requires giving personal info. If I have reasonable suspicion to report them to the Game Wardens anonymously is that a workable alternative?

It's not like I'm asking y'all what kind of food to throw over the fence to give them a poo-fountain of the runs because the animals didn't do anything wrong. I'm not the kind of guy to go over and confront them either because I'm not interested in starting a block war. It has been a few months and the problem hasn't worked itself out yet so...ye wise men of TFF OT, lay it on me.

If you're fixing to move what does it matter ?

It's possible that somebody looking at the place might be annoyed as much as me. You can pick a house but not neighbors. Great place to be other than the noise coming over the fence that irritates any dog that ain't deaf.

For all I know they could be planning on a got-dang peacock next.

Ok, I see your points. Maybe call City Hall and see what the zoning laws are.

...but those goats are effin annoying. I was okay with their chickens and their barking dogs and their compromise of fitting 5 kids and 2 adults in a 1900 square foot house, but those goats are annoying me in ways that I wish weren't the case. So that's why I showed up again, to get a feel for what the OT crew might think and maybe even tell me to cram it and just move on haha.

All good here now that the sunshine is on my back once again.

We have chickens. Really, they�re my wife�s. I didn�t want them at all. They annoy me and I�m sure my neighbors don�t love it, but no one has complained. We also try to share excess eggs with neighbors, which I think helps. We got rid of our rooster; he sucked, but the hens can be loud, too.

Goats would be very annoying, I imagine.

If they are so annoying talk to the owner instead of complaining to the rest of the world that don't care that you are annoyed by goats.

As long as they are less than 30#, cabrito is excellent table fare. I suggest butterflying the whole, dressed carcass, then put it in a foil pan surrounded by carrots, potatoes, and onions, and smoke for about 6 hours.
