He fishes for one species of fish so... For $$ he does. The center console is cool and all, but when you are stuck in the middle to fish....it sucks a big one. Can't cast overhead like you need too (avoid the left or right cast if you want to be invited back). The overhead cast is then into the rods being stored vertically or even the steering wheel/console. I had one for years (I had the bow fishing deck on front, so I made it center console to see over my big deck  ). Center Console - It's a family cool guy boat is what it is. Nothing more, nothing less.  I guess the millions of center console owners have been doing it wrong. How are you not rich and famous or a best selling author by now with all of the knowledge you seem to have over everyone else?

Remember everyone has opinions. I only speak my opinions when I "been there and done that!" I speak only of my life experiences. Done a lot in 40 years. I don't talk about half of them.  I've owned more boats than I care to list. Makes me a thousand times dumb.

Dime a dozen my friend. Buddy of mine went all out when he moved to Louisiana with a Skeeter console, thinking it would be cool down there in the marsh...he hated it too. I got the middle person shaft when I went with him. My wife had the back deck for safety reasons. Unless I was on the front deck, it was impossible to fish in the middle. BUT you sure look cool riding across the bay...until you get tired of standing up bouncing...then you try to sit down and realize there is not a good seat. Side seats are under constant spray. BUT whatever...I'm retired from the scene...I know NOTHING!

Ive fished 4 out of my boat. Which is the middle? If you hold up your 4 fingers...which is the middle finger?

That's correct, that is a fishing machine. My buddy sold his bass boat thinking he wanted the console down there.
