This statement brings a smile to my face and reiterates my appreciation for what your choices may allow my son to enjoy someday. Thanks!

Not hiding the release spot, but you guys will have to wait for the video! I hope our effort to document does not disappoint.

My thoughts exactly. For me, catching it on a lure that I built was special. With the way the new program works, we can know even before they become SALs if they are the descendant of a SAL. They ask that we remove a few scales off the 10, 11 and 12 pounders, wrap them up in a napkin and send them in. That is huge for tracking growth rates in our trophy bass and Texas fisheries and the impact of the program.

Bruce, the LFSA is incredibly deserving of the honor. As a Fork angler, I appreciate your sacrifices and support of the fishery. Some of these bass that are showing up now were no doubt caught before, and I bet there are a bunch that are alive because of the support boat you guys put at the major tournaments.

I visited their facility a few weeks ago when I was fishing in texas... It seems like a legit program.

7 lb is still a big fish in my home state someone caught a 7.63 and it was talked about all summer.... I got a 7.89 at fork a few weeks ago on the first dock I drove to when I got there. I had planned to hit that dock since last November. No net and banged it off a tree, glad I got her. new pb '

fyi your post reminded me I needed to order some more thumpers, just ordered 16, I would like some in fire tiger if you can order some of those skirts in and work that some time let me know please...

Thank you for posting and congrats. Do you elevate the water temperature or does it rise naturally? In what water temp did she spawn?

Jeff, the Live Perch is a close FT imitator. Our take on a good perch color. We might be able to give yours a custom touch with a black blade instead of gold.

Thank you. The raceways where spawning occurs are naturally influenced by the weather. She spawned quickly after the program introduced a pure Florida SAL male to her in the raceway. I am not sure about the water temp. All-in, Miss Nasty spent exactly one month (03/11-04-11) at the TFFC in Athens.

Ten four, I have some of the live perch to try. I never knew what fire tiger is looking like but Ive hammered the fish a few times on a few different lakes with a fire tiger spinner bait.

Ill get in touch after we get to fishing up here. Waters still 41 degrees.
