You guys be extra careful out there Saturday. I know these tournaments are very important to you but they can't be more important than your life or destroying your boat. There is a way to enjoy your sport and still be safe. You may not win or catch a big bag but you will still be able to compete and that's why you're fishing in all kinds of weather. The real winner is the one that goes home safe with his boat intact. Good luck to all. thumb

I know Ray Roberts gets rough, but its not Rayburn or Texoma, 25 is very much manageable if you know how to drive a boat.

What were you doing in IDB? Its chcolate milk up there.

If you can't find em wind em.

Plenty of good pockets with North shoreline to fish that will keep you out of the wind. Problem will be running the main lake.

See you on the lake and have a great day!

You can Launch at Johnson Branch, Buck, Sanger, or Marina all out of the North wind and basically put the trolling motor down and start fishing. All of those ramps have good areas very close to them. Have fun and be safe!

It was really windy yesterday afternoon. It's been a long time since I was out there with it like that. It will be flipped around on Sat. Be safe. I haven't been on Roberts in 3 weeks. Was surprised the fish weren't not as far along as they typically are
by this time.

IDB & Buck areas are still chocolate milk. I ended up with around 23# or so. There will be some big sacks despite the weather.

BUCK is the safest bet for this wind forecast.

I got 10-20 out of the south for Sunday. Big difference in that and 38 mph gusts north at 6 am while people are running around Im the dark. IMO Ill fish it either way but I think Sunday will be 10 times safer.

I agree... problem is there will be 150 boats at that ramp. Ever seen 30-40 boats at a time race down the RR tressel in the dark? You will tomorrow!

The wind will blow, some fish will get caught, someone will win. Springtime in Texas. Nothing new. Same every year.
