Guys... we're talking 15-25 mph winds decreasing during the day. Yall are making it sound like its gonna blow 40 and Ray Bob is the Bearing Sea. You dont have to drive the boat 70 mph, be smart and maintain a safe speed for the conditions. We ran the whole lake from way up DuBois creek all the way to the dam in 30 mph winds last weekend with zero issues other than a little splash of water now and then when running the trough. I know Ray Roberts gets rough, but its not Rayburn or Texoma, 25 is very much manageable if you know how to drive a boat.

If thats all it does blow then it wont be terrible. But generally 15-25 means 40 out there. Just got my boat back out of the fiberglass shop. Really hoping to not go back.

Just don't launch at Jordan if they allow you to trailer and it blows from the North. Seen more than one boat swamped there during the loading process in a stiff North wind.

See you on the lake and have a great day!

Yes, Jordan is a deathtrap with heavy North winds. State park is just as bad. Launch at Johnson for a heavy North wind.

NW wind on that lake is a beast, will want to access lake from Buck or Johnson if fishing East side of lake. If North Wind stay away from Jordon i've seen 20footers swamped there. Have fun...

Out there today in 19mph SSE wind and pretty quiet.. Thank goodness they put that 5 day restriction on you all smile... Good Luck all, big bag awaits...
