Nice job guys and thanks Fishinfool40 for letting us come out. Those boys really know how to work those minnows.

I learn alot from fishing with the folks from this web site.

Went to dock again last night, 1-6.am. And caught about 15 whites. And an 8.5lb. --- 26" long, Flathead Catfish, all on live shad.Definitely, the biggest flathead I've ever caught... banana(Finally found my digital scale and weighed it) thumb...Also caught 5 crappie on live shad. And 1 crappie on a 1/8th oz. Roadrunner with a willow blade and a 2" clear-silver-flake grub...Will post pics soon...And will try to make it back out there tommorrow night (or early Friday morning that is) and give it another try...

Congrats on the catch....I like that you are gaining some confidence with jigs. Keep easing those jigs out there. Sometimes you can just put your rod in a holder like you did the live bait and they will hit it too!

But then again, with all that shad swimmin' out there, why not.

I'm hoping to get out tomorrow. Perhaps we'll cruise by and say hello.

Just got back home from my mothers house...Man that kitty was some good eating.Still had about a pound of the belly meat left over. And fileted and packaged up the rest of the other fish for my mothers freezer...I'll be working tommorrow,so probally won't make it out there tommorrow night...Anyhow,my mom took a lot of pics. And hopefully I'll get them emailed to me tommorrow...And to Big Chief. The minnows were all gone in the bigger bait bucket and the smaller bucket was gone or stashed somewhere under the dock or elsewhere...lol So no telling how many fish were caught there over the weekend, with all those minnows...

Didn't get a chance to go after all. Had an interview and had to extend that to an all afternoon affiar....wish me luck. Second interview session today.

I will be going out Friday afternoon and into the wee hours in search of crappie -- weather permitting of course.

BTW...that next day after I say you pull those slabs out in that corner, I just got so jeleous, I had to go to my buds dock and get a few of those slabs for myself. Viola! Got 'em.
