I may check it out Saturday and get word out. I haven't seen anything about ramps being closed.

According to Corp site, no closures on Cooper. But, TPWD shows Doctors Creek is closed.

I would`nt mind knowing the Tail Race situation myself but too far to drive ,get there and discover parking lot and the discharge area under water. That would be a waste. That`s why I said in a previous post" it`s Killa if you can get back there" especially if there water flowing.

The spillway area is open to fish. Lots of crappie, whites, and hybrids. Don't know how there biting but you can't keep them out of a castnet. Doctors creek park is still closed but everything else is fine. The lake is not but a little over a foot high now. I know of several people trying the crappie on the lake but haven't heard any good reports.

Doctors Creek State Park will be closed until late April or May. All other boat ramps are open. You can fish behind the dam but you have to fight the crowds. Was out there the other day fishing around the walkway when two guys walk out on the walkway and start throwing nets catching shad and hybrids right where we are fishing. I just left. Didn't feel like arguing with them. By the way if you go out there be sure you have a license and don't keep any snagged fish. The game warden is keeping an eye on that area.
