Gimme gps cords and I'll get a weight on her and an updated pic Convince Sealy to have a Big Bass Splash here and I will get a certified weight, some great pics, first place, and a new truck and boat.

Water couldn't have been over foot or foot and a half deep. WOW. Its a little deeper than that but not by much. First pic she is in probably 1' of water. The other pics she is in 2.5'-3' of water. Its a pretty sharp drop on that bank. Couple of times her tail was out of water when she was nose down. The ripples from her tail being out of the water is what caught my attention to begin with. I am working on getting a underwater GoPro here tonight. If the rain doesn't mess the water up and she is still in that spot tomorrow I am going to go set up a camera on her for a hour or so. I hope it works out would love to see the footage.

great pics....thanks for sharing with us...don't be surprised if the big fish is long gone by tomorrow..
it's been my experience that trying to catch a bass while they are rolling around in the act of spawning is hard to do....
several years ago a buddy told me he had caught a lot of fish on Amistad with a 7 inch senko....I was skeptical but I bought a pack of them and not long after that,I was on Seminole and saw two bass rolling around in the act of spawning....I threw that big senko up there just past them,pulled it between them and so help me,both of them grabbed it...it was texas rigged and the biggest fish grabbed the end that had the hook in it...I caught her and she weighed a little over 6lbs..the other fish was probably 3lbs.....
it made a believer out of me as far as a senko being a good bait to bed fish with.....FWIW....it seems to me that if the bed is in a clean area where you can use it,a wacky rigged senko will generate bites quicker than texas rigged..put that wacky style senko in middle of the bed and barely twitch it and generally they can't stand that....

Nearly impossible to catch when actually spawning. On occasion if you sneak up from a distance they will eat out of reaction before they notice you are there

I had one do that to me about 4 years ago in a pond behind house rolling, laying eggs. Pitched to her several times that evening no bite. Woke up the next morning caught her on the first cast with a brush hog.
She weighed seven pounds. Id like to see that footage too or a pic after you catch her. Good luck!
