I tried gluing the baits on, especially Laners baits...I liked the results, a lot, other than the glue fingers I invariably ended up dealing with...
HaHa Dale. I've been avoiding glue for some time now. I was gluing some jigheads to plastic prepping for the next day's tournament only to find index and thumb connected. It took 45 minutes running warm water over to finally disengage the fingers, which were a little raw (understatement). I've avoided it since.

Only time I use superglue is for dock shooting. It holds the bait on quite a bit longer when shooting docks where the water tries to jerk the baits off the jig head.

tired of your cap getting glued to your tube, put a little lip balm carmex inside the cap, and screw it on. the cap will never get stuck on again. Great idea!

Get some jigheads with a keeper from Redgun and you won't need any super glue.

Use the Locktite gel super glue...lots easier to handle with soft plastics, and the lid doesn't seize on because of glue dribbling down the sides.

I have some of Redgun's weedless jigheads with the fine wire. They are excellent quality, but after a week of running that fine wire in the tip of my finger and under the nail, I went back to fiber weedguards. Just a personal preference and NOT a diss on Redgun's products. They are all excellent.

I figured out you can bend the wire out to the side, put the body on and bend it back in place...no stuck fingers, either...

Man, that is the WORST...because after you pull all the skin off your fingers, then you got to deal with unhooking the crappie...can you say bleeding fingers? So, Jimmy did they get your boat back on the water yet?

I have started using dental floss and has worked well for not as much of a mess easier on the fingers.
