it would be great if the show centered the theme on different lakes and the ways to best angle the crappie on that particular lake. Like a different lake every time, tell them to come do a show on lake waco, and belton, tradinghouse, aquilla. Many different lakes, im sure theres alot to choose from. concentrate more on the lakes, and not techniques. Agree, whole heartedly...however, a lot of the people they fish with are BnM sponsored pros, so it kinda helps justify the marketing dollars, from a balance sheet/income statement perspective...so they probably wont change the format anytime soon...but hey, like Slewfoot said...crappie fishing shows are better than other types, at least to me...

Wes and I filmed in Season 4, episodes 2 and 3. Russ is a great guy, and yes the show is backed well, and should be around for a good while. Do they pay you guys to take them out and do the show?
COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !

I have the Russ Bailey 3 dvd's called Any Time, Any Place in any Water, Crappie. They are pretty good, and these were my introduction to Russ Bailey. I watch Brushpile Fishing shows on the internet cannot find them on Directv. I agree that he does use "Folks" way to much. Also agree spider rigging does not interest me either, hard to do in a 15 foot 1978 Ranger bass boat. I like doc shooting videos the best, with actual brush pile fishing next. The comment they sometimes use other jigs that are not mentioned in what they are using today is true, as I notice the jigs they are using too, and they do a good job of not showing the jigs on each catch. Its on DirecTV Saturdays at 2:30 channel 604.
“Livescope: (noun.) 1. A tool used by fish to frustrate the ever livin’ daylights out of fishermen.”
