how do you clean them ?

Thanks Gitter and butch sanders for the replies. Gitter: Creek fishing is already off to a GREAT start. It's going to be a GREAT year.  Butch Sanders: I scale them,gut them,and then cut the heads off. Nothing beats a plate of fresh fried Bluegill.

Great post Chuck. You guys have been nailing em! Your post title is 100 percent right "Creek fishing is On FIRE"! I have fished three creeks so far this year with great results on all three. Been using the fly rod a lot. What is your take on the summer bite on the creeks? Side Note: A couple inches of rain would really be nice!  (The Rain Dance)

Thanks Curtis for the reply! From now until late fall the sunfish bite should be "FANTASTIC" It has already been a GREAT year. Myself and several friends of mine have been catching some very nice fish and lots of them! Side Note: Looks like Wednesday night we might get some showers!

Thanks Chuck. Got just under a quarter of an inch this latest round of RAIN! Looking forward to a great sunfish 2018.  Side Note: Like you stated. It has already started being a GREAT sunfish year!

We also have a nice chance for some rain all this week. Forecast is saying about an inch Friday!
