went up to Stampede Creek this morning and could get no further than the mouth of the creek as it is silted in really bad. If you could get to the creek, you probably could navigate the creek for a significant distance. Lots of people out today as it is beautiful with not too much wind. I should have gone up to Owl Creek but decided to wait until it is not so busy.

I'm not much of a fisherman. We Tried white flint today with no crappie. One of my boys caught a largemouth bass. We also went to cedar ridge park and I caught a small bass. Well try again.

If you are speaking of Stampede Creek, you could walk it if you could get to it but to do that you would have to go through private property. Don't know any of property owners.

When are you going to be in the Temple area?.

Mostly anytime in the next couple of weeks...I just need some decent weather...basically I need three days to repair his fence maybe four if I can go fishing...I will have some spare time waiting for cement to set up...and after I am done...only next weekend is out, due to family matters.

COMING SOON! .. THE STICKLE HOOK " the stay level sickle hook". sits level in the water with all knots.! Provides better hook sets and more natural jigging motion. No more adjusting the knot, gluing , or tying loop knots that cause the hook point to tangle in the loop, or worse knick the line.. The jighook that will make all others obsolete !
