OK. A generation ago guns were commonly in the window rack of pickups in school parking lots.
Something wrong with the youngs. They're not right in the head. If you don't want a gun don't buy one.
I agree. I see lots of talk about guns but very little about what has happened, what changed about 20 years ago that made this a thing kids would do? Whats different with parents or society as a whole, or the media... I mean those are the things we need to look into. Plus the guns are out there, you cant snap your fingers and they are gone. Make them illegal or harder to get and the only result will be only the bad guys who dont follow laws anyways have them. I also agree if you dont like guns dont buy one...that said I would say the same for abortion, if your against them great. But dont tell someone else whats right for them! I am a live and let live guy.

Texas rank in the bottom 20% of the nation. The comment you see here is what you get when the mental institutions in Texas lets the patients use the computer. We have mental institutions? Other than aTm, where are they located? Wow, it didnt even take a college football thread for you to bring up A&M. Typical tsip dbag. I do not condone that chitwizardish act for the record.

I don't get to pick the car you drive and you don't get to pick the gun I own.
Cars are more deadly than guns yet cars are not mentioned once in the Constitution.
My wife has a nice horse that is draining my bank account. I will sell it to you and no more worries about dying in a car crash. Cars did not exist. Niether did pig killing assault weapons.
And I know who "Jeff" is.

Our healthcare is the highest it has ever been. Our country is in debt deeper than it has ever been.
Crime rates for 2017 were at a 25+ year low.
Hey we had a terrible crime happen in Florida, let's see if we can get some political gains from it.
Just disgusting.

Just disgusting. We had a more terrible crime in Vegas and a long list before that. Nothing to see here. Nothing anyone can do. I own a lot of weapons legally. Never had a need for an "Assualt Weapon". Politics are the problem.

again, why is the argument about limiting ONE gun AR's the next comment is about banning all guns?? NO ONE HAS EVER in the history of this argument said ban all guns? It would impossible and no one is arguing that. Obama is not building death camps and Bill Clinton is not coming for your shotgun.
The discussion was brought up about the AR no other weapon. The truth is that it is the "barbie doll" of the gun culture and people have made it some sort of twisted symbol for the US. sad, we used to be about more than a gun. Absolutely, 100% demonstrably false. There are many people calling for banning all guns. There are many people calling for confiscating all guns. Read something for once. What an absolutely absurd statement. Obama and Clinton dont matter. There are still plenty of people calling for banning all guns and confiscating guns already in private possession. There are other countries that have already banned and confiscated guns, but NO ONE HAS EVER IN THE HISTORY OF THIS ARGUMENT HAS EVER DONE IT. I absolutely do not believe you own any guns, as you said you did in another thread on this subject. Youre a joke.

Brother had a Colt Sporter AR15.
Nice fun. Very accurate. No recoil.
The only problem was that it was so boring to shoot.
I sat at the 300 yard range that had a steel target.
I could empty the magazine and never miss.
