Yes, sort of looks like thin chocolate milk. I am speaking of way up in the cove, the area directly below AF&G lake. I can go down to my dock and when it is clear, I can see the bottom; after rains, it's cloudy.

Not sure up in the deeper main body of the lake.

For the right incentive ($$$) they will spawn or at least go through the "motions" of spawning.

Oh! What a difference a few days make!!!

Read my report related to what I ran across today in two approximately 30 minute fishing periods. I posted it down in the White Bass forum.

They were out and biting again this morning. I published a few more photos under the White Bass group.

I ended up with 25 or so white bass, all super large, and 4 LMBs.

Water is still muddy enough that I can't see the bottom in 4 feet deep water. Light rain, almost a mist this AM, low wind.

The LMBs are beginning their move up to spawn, about 2 weeks later than last year.

Has the water temp been coming up much or what is it currently?

It was listed at 45 to 49 degrees last week by TPWD.

My guess is that we are now in the low 50s up on the north end of the lake. The water is not as clear as usual, this holds heat better. Then, too, we have had some warmer weather.

LMBs have definitely begin to move up into the shallows as have the white bass.

And, the lake level has been a few inches > 440' conservation level.
