We made a mistake adding! Thanks to Alex Finch who caught it, Richie White won by .03 lbs! Sorry about the mistake. Congrats to all the guys that posted big bags. Good job Alex for catching the mistake. Any time you are converting ounces to hundredths it gets dicey It was very close, Ken. We used a Cul-M-Rite, so very precise. I'm happy that we were able to get 17 guides on the lake today. I know there were a lot of happy (and cold) fishermen who got to spend the day with them. Kevin Bryant and I were blessed to share a day with Richie that we will never forget. 8.67 and 8.96 in the last hour! And a 4 pounder that might be forgotten in that flurry. Kevin is a stud with my new Vicktory Jig and Richie put us in a position and place to win. Kevin is a very good fisherman and he totally rocked that 8.97 on the jig. Amazing to witness and can't wait for Richie's video to be edited and shared. Richie is a super guy, and my greatest feeling from this win is pride for a super hard working man that has helped others enjoy Lake Fork for 28 years. I know it is not an easy task to go out on days like today and find big fish that will bite. Hope you guys have a chance to go out with Richie soon.
