Had the best 4 hours I've had on that lake in about 2 years today. Was blown away how good they ate with the sub 50 temps. Maybe there is hope I thought there was a chance today. As tough as it can be in the winter, if you just get three or four days of warm weather it can turn the big fish on.

As tough as it can be in the winter, if you just get three or four days of warm weather it can turn the big fish on. yea having the lake to yourself (almost) helps too. Was able to fish whatever I wanted unlike most days.
