Better shake a leg tomorrow morning, call in sick, your dog got bit by a spider etc.... Make up something, Might see 70' I'm thinking high pressure, but right before a front, a Cold front, you prefish BC guys won't like Sat or Sun...  Funny you should post this as tomorrow will be exactly 1 year since I caught this big gal on Conroe with a shakey head. I will be out there again as well.  How have you been doing on Conroe? Been very slow for me and my partner last month. We have mostly been fishing south of 1097 but have covered most of that area and have not been very successful. Matt It's been hit and miss depending on the location. My last trip to Conroe on Sunday, 1/28, The sun was out and I caught three in the back of Peach creek in 5-8 fow. Water temps were 60-61 in most all of creeks and 58 in the main lake. Before that, everything was south of the bridge with a jig or c-rig falling down slopes. Currently, the SJRA site has the water temp back down at 50 deg. so I'll probably start out deeper tomorrow. My and peach creek dont get along anymore. Hit too many stumps getting in and out of there. If you value your lower unit thats not a great place. Matt

My and peach creek dont get along anymore. Hit too many stumps getting in and out of there. If you value your lower unit thats not a great place.

im guessing 3 SAL's will be caught in the next 2 weeks. Yea, somewhere, but not in Texas.......cuz I ain't fishin!
